The Power Of Counselling

Experience the power of counselling — a space to understand yourself on a deeper level and make lasting change. If you’re feeling stuck or desperate for things to be different, this could be the first step towards real transformation.

Are you looking for counselling that offers real change — not just a quick fix?
Many EAP services and NHS options are limited to just six sessions, which can make it hard to explore things fully. I offer a space where you can take things at your own pace — somewhere safe to understand what’s really going on beneath the surface, and to make lasting changes rather than just learning to ‘manage’ in the short term.

I work with adults who want to make sense of their experiences, break old patterns, and find new ways of relating to themselves and others. My approach is gentle, compassionate, and tailored to you — creating the space you need to feel heard, understood, and supported as you move toward lasting change.

     How I Can Support You

My aim is to help you reconnect with yourself, uncover what you truly need, and support you in making real, lasting changes from a place of understanding and self-acceptance.

I support people with a wide range of emotional difficulties and life challenges, including:

  • Healing from childhood trauma and inner child wounds

  • Exploring attachment patterns and developing more secure connections

  • Managing anxiety, stress, and feelings of overwhelm

  • Building self-esteem, self-worth, and a stronger sense of identity

  • Working through grief, loss, and life transitions

  • Understanding and supporting neurodivergent experiences

  • Coping with depression, loneliness, or feeling stuck

  • Developing emotional awareness and regulation

  • Gently exploring self-harm or other coping behaviours with care and non-judgment

  • Finding meaning, stability, and connection after difficult or traumatic experiences

How can counselling help me...

Counselling aims to help you process and overcome issues that are causing emotional pain or problems that are making you feel uncomfortable or unhappy.

It is a type of talking therapy that allows you to talk about your problems and feelings in a confidential and dependable environment and find the solutions to overcome them.

Sometimes, therapy can bring up difficult emotions, but it can also provide hope, clarity, relief, and guidance as we work through your thoughts and feelings. Over time, it feels like a positive step towards understanding yourself better and finding healthier ways to cope.

Online or Telephony Therapy

These days, most of us are so comfortable with video calls that they’ve become part of everyday life—and online counselling makes it easier than ever to look after your mental well-being.

You can have sessions from the comfort of your own home, without the stress of travel or fitting it into a packed schedule. It’s a simple, flexible way to connect with someone who’s there to listen and support you, no matter where you are.

Being in a familiar space can help you feel even more at ease, so you can focus fully on yourself and what matters most to you.
